Incoming Students

Welcome to Roma Tre University. Situated in the Ostiense area, the University is just minutes away from the historical centre of Rome. Roma Tre was founded in November 1992 and now with about 40.000 students, has the size of an average Italian university. The field of studies are: Architecture, Economics, Education, Engineering, Law, Letters and Philosophy, Political Science, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Geology. The present Rector is Prof. Mario Panizza. Prof. Luca Marcozzi is the Institutional Co-ordinator for the Erasmus+ Programme. Roma Tre is an active participant in the European Union exchange programmes. During the academic year 2013/2014 about 500 Roma Tre Erasmus students attended courses in partner universities abroad for study periods between 3 and 10 months and about 500 European students arrived here. So far Humanities, followed by Architecture, have been the most popular subject areas, although Economics, Law and Political Science are starting to attract more and more foreign students. Some of our Departments are linked with European and non-European institutions through bilateral co-operation agreements (experimental science projects, faculty exchanges, co-operation projects with developing countries, etc.).
