Curriculum Vitae

Silvia Menegazzi è professore a contratto presso la Facoltà di Scienze Politiche dell’Università “Roma Tre” e assegnista di ricerca presso il Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche della LUISS Guido Carli. Socia fondatrice del Centro Studi sulla Cina Contemporanea (CSCC), nel 2014 ha conseguito un dottorato di ricerca in Teoria Politica presso la LUISS. E’ stata Visiting Research Scholar alla China Foreign Affairs University di Pechino (2014) e presso il PAIS (Politics and International Studies) dell’università di Warwick, UK (2016). Ha ottenuto un MSc in International Politics presso la School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) di Londra e un MA in Studi Orientali presso l’Università di Roma ‘La Sapienza’. Parla Cinese fluentemente e ha effettuato lunghi periodi di studio e ricerca in Cina (Nankai University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Renmin University, East China Normal University).I suoi principali interessi di ricerca vertono su temi inerenti la teoria delle Relazioni Internazionali (IR Theory), regionalismo comparato e global governance, le politiche dell’Unione Europea in Asia, politica estera, think tanks e attori non governativi della Cina contemporanea.
